Ronald C. Bost, Sr.
April 18, 1958 - August 31, 2026
Ronnie passed away peacefully at Tucker Hospice House after a short battle with Cancer. Ronnie was an avid sports fan. His favorites were the Carolina Panthers, all Tennessee teams , Nascar and Dirt Track Racing. In the 1990s he built his own Dirt track cars and raced at Metrolina Speedway. Ronnie was a truck driver for 37 years. The majority of his trucking years were spent with Dixie Trucking and Saia Motor Freight. He recieved numerous Safety Awards and logged over 2 million miles in his career.
Ronnie was predeceased by his wife of 35 years Adona Bost; mother, Hilda Smith; father, George Calvin Durwood Bost; step father , Al Smith and son, Henry Bost and Great Granddaughter, Cassidy
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Angela. His children, Aleigha Benfield (Anthony) Richmond, VA; Ronnie, Jr. (Jennifer) Concord, NC; Seth Concord, NC and step daughter Kayti (David) Charleston, SC. Grand children Secret Bost, Blake (Brooke), Madison, Cameron, MaKenzie, Brendan, Taylor, Easton, Callie, MaKayla, Lexie and Caroline. Sisters, Sheri Tatum(Chris) and Kim Smith. Brother, Dick Morgan; Mother-in-law, Carolyn Thornton; Brother-in-law and friend, Barry Thornton (Rachel) and special neice, Presley Thornton. Great grand children Kaycen, Averie and Ashanti. Numerous cousins , neices, nephews and friends whom he loved very much.
A service to celebrate the life of Ronnie will be Thursday, September 10, 2026.
Visitation at 1 p.m. with service following at 2 p.m.
