Rodney Dean Kimsey (64) of Albemarle, NC got his wings on Sunday January 29, 2023. Rodney was born on June 5th, 1958 in Charlotte, NC to Ray Kimsey and the late Irene Kimsey. Survived by wife Terri S. Kimsey, Son Rodney D. Kimsey (Nikki), Daughter Karrie D. Kimsey (Joseph), Daughter Taylor I. Kimsey. Brothers Douglas Kimsey and Christopher Kimsey (Barbara), Sister Teresa Bowen (Darren). Grandchildren Cody Tucker, Hailey Kimsey, Gavin Kimsey, Nola Bertino, Layne Kimsey, Jostlyn Shaffar and Evan Carlson. Great Grandchild Paxton Tucker. Nieces and Nephews Phillip Birmingham, Julie Alexander, Teresa Thomas, Alex and Josh Whitley, Matthew Kimsey, Danielle Price, Dawn Bryant, Brittany Wilson, Jack Stallings, Stephanie Jessup, Dustin Stallings, Brandon Culp. Preceded in death by Irene Kimsey, Paula Thomas, Diane Kimsey, Jason Thomas and Brian Culp.
Words will never describe what he meant to us all. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. He had a very unique sense of humor, his quirky sayings and jokes will live on through us forever. Fly high Superman!
A celebration of life will be held on February 18th, 2023 at 3-6pm at 623 Maple St, Locust, NC
