Mrs. Patricia McDowell McNair, 82, of Charlotte, NC went home to be with the Lord on the evening of March 4, 2026. She leaves to cherish her memory, the love of her life, John (Jack) McNair, and her loving daughter, Maia McNair.
After managing the family business, McNair’s Auto Glass Service, with her husband for many years, she went on to work as an Advertising Sales Executive with the Charlotte Post Newspaper in 1994, where she retired in 2011.
Mrs. McNair was a life-long member of Greater Bethel AME Church in Charlotte, NC and served on various committees in the church. She was also active with local community organizations and the West Charlotte Senior High Class of 1961 Alumni Association, where she served as Class Vice President for many years. Many adored Patricia, and her presence will truly be missed.
The celebration of life will be a memorial service on Saturday, March 14, 12 noon at Greater Bethel AME Church, 5232 The Plaza, Charlotte, NC 28215. Rev. Devin D. Paylor is the pastor. The family asks that you consider joining them by wearing purple in her honor.
