CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA
December 11, 1957 - February 10, 2026
Kenneth Wayne Green was born on December 11, 1957, in Warren County, NC. He peacefully departed this life on February 10, 2026, at Novant Health Presbyterian Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Kenneth was a proud graduate of John Graham Senior High School, where he served as the drum major of the band, an early reflection of his vibrant spirit. Following high school, he relocated to Charlotte, NC where he met and married the love of his life, Joana Miles, with whom he shared over 40 years of marriage and built a family rooted in love and strength.
He honorably served his country in the United States Army for eight years, demonstrating commitment, courage, and dedication.
Above all, Kenneth loved his family. He was a devoted father who took great pride in raising his three sons, always instilling in them strength, values, and what it truly means to be a Green. His legacy lives on through his sons: Kenneth Green Jr. , Mali Green, and Kristian Green.
He was a proud grandfather to five beloved grandchildren: Kenuel Green, Jatavis Green, Saniyah Green, Kristian Green Jr. , and Kyrin Green, each of whom brought him great joy.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Allen Green Sr. and Catherine Jeffries Green; his sister, Mary Harrison; and his brothers, Roy Allen Green Jr.; and Larry Green.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving sisters, Juanita Alston and Catherine Humphrey; his sister-in-law Sylvia Green; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Kenneth will be remembered for his strength, love for his family, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
The Green family have entrusted arrangements to Roseboro's Mortuary & Crematory.
