On Friday, May 28th Jeffrey Michel loving son and brother passed away at the age of 52. Jeff was born in Alpen, MI to Jan and Fidelis Michel. He grew up in Myrtle Beach, SC where he graduated from high school and college. For the past 15 years he lived in Charlotte, NC and worked at UNC-Charlotte in fire safety and fiber optic network  maintenance. Jeff had a passion for dogs, kayaking, Nascar and enjoyed restoring cars and yard equipment. 
Jeff took great pride in taking something old and broken and making it "new" again. Jeff is survived by his father Jan, mother Fidelis, brothers Eric and Adam and his dog Bailey. 
A visitation will be held  Friday, June 4th from 12:30pm -3:30pm at Roseboro's Mortuary and Crematory 4300 Statesville Road Charlotte, NC 28269. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Charlotte SPCA in memory of Jeff.
