Glenn Maynor died unexpectedly on April 13, 2026 at the age of 62.
Glenn was born in Charlotte, N.C. to William R. Maynor and Shirley M. Maynor. He grew up in the Charlotte, Wilgrove area but graduated from East Lincoln High School when he moved to Denver N. C. Glenn was a National Honor award recipient for his exemplary academic achievements while in school.
Due to his passion for the mechanical and his abilities to fix things deemed difficult by others, Glenn joined Harry Gant's Skoal Bandit NASCAR racing team. Glenn’s tenure aligned with the team when it was at the peak of its success. Afterwards, Glenn returned to Charlotte where he lived for the remainder of his life.
