Eric Weyandt, 53, passed on Sunday, April 06, 2025. 

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our father, Eric James Weyandt, age 53. In his final moments, with us by his side, Dad unexpectedly passed on Sunday, April 6th, 2025, at Novant Rowan Health Medical Center in Salisbury, NC. Born on January 10, 1972, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, to Sandra Gail Weyandt and the late Derwood Lynn Weyandt. Eric had three siblings, Daniel Craig Weyandt, the late Heather Jo Weyandt, and the late Jeffery Alan Weyandt. Eric is survived by his beloved sons, Dillon Emmanuel Weyandt (fiancé Erin Coley) and Tyler James Weyandt. Eric attended East Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC. The majority of his last years were spent as a loving caretaker to both his mother and father. Eric profoundly loved and spoiled his Shih Tzu, Chewy, who is now missing him profusely. Eric spent most of his free time enjoying one of the many games he loved to play. He had an amazing group of lifelong, loyal friends that he enjoyed spending time with, playing poker, camping, or just sitting by a fire soaking in the night stars. He was a man of humor who loved to joke, laugh, and make everyone smile. He was a talented pool player and an amazing father. His absence leaves a void in the hearts and lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
To commemorate his legacy and the memories we all cherished, a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th, 2025.
