Doris Simmons 86, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023.

A Service to Celebrate the Life of Doris will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Chappell Memorial Baptist Church 110 Bradford Dr. Charlotte, NC 2808. The visitation will begin at 11:30 AM and Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment immediately following at Oaklawn Cemetery. 

Doris Simmons leaves to cherish her memory: five daughters, Carolyn McFadden, Patricia Holmes – Miller, Wyanette Williams, Andrewette Hall and husband Reginald, Cheryl McFadden; one son, Thaddeus McFadden Jr. and his wife Rosalyn; eleven grandchildren; Catherine Barnes and husband Gregory, Tomek McFadden and wife Angela, Tra’ McFadden and wife Victoria, Dominique McFadden and wife Marcella, Shatonia Carson, Tukuli Hall and wife Jennifer, Tyronia Carson, Dedrick McFadden and wife Danielle, Toddrick McFadden and wife Kristina, Nia Williams Reyes and husband Kevin, Malik McFadden; twenty-one great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three brothers, John Phillips, James “Bill” Phillips and Edward Phillips; one sister, Diane Phillips Bailey and her husband Charles; one sister-in-love, Betty Phillips and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
