CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA

July 8, 1961 - February 27, 2025

Doreen Emma Douglas, 63, of Potenza Drive, NC passed away on February 27, 2025, at Atrium University Health. 

Born in New Haven, CT. Doreen was the daughter of late Jeremiah “Jerry” Douglas and Allie Thomas Douglas.

Doreen struggled with her health for many years but was always a fighter. She never allowed {labels} to take away her joy or independence. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grand pups Flynn and Sienna.

Surviving her is her daughter “the light of her life” Felicia Marie Wood, MSN-FNP of Charlotte, NC; sisters Rosalyn Garrison of Central, SC and Valerie Johnson of Liberty, SC; brothers Richard Douglas (Sara) of Florence, SC and Brian Douglas of New Haven, CT. She leaves behind a host of family including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Carmen Douglas Wallace and her brothers Jeremiah “Jerry” Douglas Jr. and Derick Douglas.

The memorial for Doreen will be held on March 22nd , 2025 in Pendleton, SC.
