With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dedrick Lasean Randolph—a devoted and loving father, uncle, and friend. Dedrick left this world peacefully on March 25, 2025, at the age of 48, surrounded by those who loved him most. He lived a life full of warmth, kindness, and selflessness, always putting others before himself. His unwavering love for his family, his upbeat spirit, and his countless acts of generosity will forever be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Born on April 29, 1976, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Allen H.L. Randolph and Johnnie Mae Blevans, Dedrick was a hardworking and dedicated Class B CDL Driver with over 20 years of experience. He was especially fond of his position at Airgas, where he found great meaning in the company’s mission to support cancer patients. Dedrick was particularly moved by Airgas's role in providing dry ice for cold capping during chemotherapy, helping to minimize hair loss for patients undergoing treatment. This unique aspect of his job allowed him to be part of a team that made a real difference in the lives of those facing cancer.

A loving father with an adventurous spirit, Dedrick leaves behind a legacy of unforgettable memories with his children: Kyra Randolph, Dedrick Randolph Jr., and Kayden Randolph. Whether it was the thrill of whitewater rafting, the joy of swimming with dolphins, or the boldness of feeding alligators in a pit, Dedrick embraced life with contagious energy. Still, his greatest joy came from the quiet moments—especially watching movies with his mother, Johnnie Mae Blevans, a tradition he cherished deeply. His presence, laughter, and boundless love will be missed by his children and all who knew him.

Dedrick had a gift for bringing people together, whether through his cooking, his love of sports, or his deep sense of responsibility. Known for his perfectly grilled steaks, Dedrick’s meals became a family tradition—so much so that one loved one delayed a flight just to enjoy one more. He shared a fun rivalry with his brother Chris over who was the true grill master, a playful connection that reflected his joyful spirit.

His passion for sports was lifelong. From his days as a standout neighborhood basketball player to coaching his son Dedrick Jr.’s elementary team to a championship alongside his brother-in-law Montoyo Wooten, Dedrick poured his energy into uplifting others. As a proud Tennessee Titans fan, he also shared a cherished football rivalry with his best friend and brother-in-law, Keith Archibald—a bond filled with laughter and brotherhood.

Above all, Dedrick was a man of deep compassion. When his niece and nephews lost their father, he stepped in with open arms, becoming a steady presence and father figure. Even in passing, his spirit of giving continued—through organ donation, he gave others a second chance at life. In this final act, Dedrick lived out the same love and generosity that defined his journey on Earth.

Dedrick is preceded in death by his father, Allen H.L. Randolph. He is survived by his former wife of 22 years, Bianca Randolph, with whom he shared three beautiful children: daughter Kyra Randolph, and sons Dedrick Randolph Jr. and Kayden Randolph. He is also survived by his mother, Johnnie Mae Blevans, and his siblings, Christopher Randolph and Anthony Randolph. Additionally, he leaves behind a host of cherished nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many other relatives who will deeply miss his presence.

Dedrick also leaves behind a special and unbreakable bond with his sisters-in-law: LaTonya Archibald, Anica Wooten, Naija Washington, and Chaniqua Washington. Over the past 22 years, he became more than a brother-in-law—he became a true brother. Through every season of life—birthdays, family dinners, holidays, and hardships—Dedrick was a source of laughter, strength, and genuine love. His relationship with each of them was unique, heartfelt, and deeply rooted in loyalty. Their connection will always be remembered, and his absence will be felt beyond measure.
