CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA
July 1, 1963 - July 8, 2025
Deborah “Debbie” Roth Feaster, age 62, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC, just one week after celebrating her birthday.
Debbie was born on July 1, 1963, in Charlotte, NC, and was adopted at six months old by her loving parents, Morris and Marilyn Roth. She grew up in Charlotte and graduated from East Mecklenburg High School.
Early in her career, Debbie worked in banking with First Union, which later became Wachovia. Eventually, she chose to dedicate her life to raising her children, a role she embraced with pride and devotion.
Debbie was best known for her "tell it like it is" attitude, her unwavering love for her daughters, and her fierce loyalty to those she cared for. A true “dance mom,” she spent countless hours supporting her girls’ passion for dance throughout their childhood. She also enjoyed her daily dose of reality TV and her favorite soap operas—Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives—and she never turned down a meal from Subway.
Debbie is survived by her daughters, Christi (Adam) Kurtz and Katie Feaster; her sister Dorothy (Norman) Shapiro; and her beloved niece and nephew, Amy Udoff and Stuart Shapiro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Marilyn Roth.
Debbie will be cremated at Roseboro's Mortuary and Crematory. A private celebration of life will be held with close friends and family, lovingly hosted by her daughters.
In honor of her courageous battle with end-stage renal disease over the past decade, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, honesty, and the love she poured into her family.
