Daniel Greely Neal

On June 6, 2025 Daniel Greely Neal, pre-deceased by his parents Sula Mae Passmore and Horace W. Neal, passed away peacefully at the age of 76 after having suffered a devastating stroke.

Daniel (“Dan”) is survived by his children, grandchildren, brother Greg Neal, and his nieces Toni Scharpnick and Dana James.  He is pre-deceased by his sister, Barbara Neal Jones and three brothers; Joe Neal, Billy Neal, and Sammy Neal.

Dan was most at home on the ocean and spent his career as a deep-sea fisherman.  He worked for many years at Captain Dick’s Marina in Murrell’s Inlet, SC.  He absolutely loved taking people out on deep sea fishing trips and always had many great stories to share from his adventures at sea. Dan never met a stranger and had a great sense of humor!
